Darling Daisy

We can't wait to host you at Darling Daisy's Retro Retreat!  Make memories with family and friends retro style camper that sleeps 4 people.   Glamp in style in our 2017 Retro Riverside Trailer modeled after the Teardrop or Canned Ham trailers that were popular from the 1930's to the 1960's.  Darling Daisy is tucked away on a lush East County hillside. Enjoy a perfect blend of vintage style and deluxe amenities. Private entrance. Ample free street parking. We welcome everybody to our home.

The space

Daisy's Retro Retreat has everything you need to enjoy a super fun San Diego vacation.

Darling Daisy is a spacious vintage style trailer, with approximately 250 square feet of living space.  The bedroom has an ultra comfortable Queen bed that sleeps two and we have provided a smart Roku TV in this room where you can also snuggle up and enjoy watching a bunch of streaming channels.  The trailer has tons of storage.  Please note that the height of the RV inside is 6'4" tall so if you are a very tall person, you may not fit very well.

The common area consists of a super cool vintage style booth where the whole family can enjoy a meal!  We have a small stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster oven and sink.  The trailer does not have a traditional oven.  The kitchen is stocked with a pod style coffee maker, tea and coffee, and basic kitchen needs like cups, plates, bath towels, wine opener, cooking utensils, pots and pans and silverware. The trailer is set up to create a small meal but we hope you try out all the amazing restaurants surrounding the area instead!  We even have a washer and dryer available for use close by the RV! 

 

Daisy is also equipped with two comfy twin bunk beds and a bathroom with a SMALL shower.   Miss Daisy is cooled by a ceiling AC unit and heated with a furnace.  For entertainment we have a Roku Smart TV in the living room and master bedroom as well as a built in stereo and bluetooth speaker.  We provide all bed linens and bath towels. 

The RV is located off of a quiet street with quick freeway access. Ample parking is available just outside the gate of the property, only steps away from the RV.

We do allow one dog, but please note that dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the trailer at any time.  El Cajon can get very hot and although the AC will cool the trailer down, if it were to break, the trailer would heat up like a hot car and we wouldn't want anything to happen to your fur baby!
As your hosts, we strive to provide everything you need for a wonderful stay. We want you to have as much fun in San Diego as we do!

Parking is easy right outside the gate.  Your area is the gated area directly around the trailer. 

Please note that El Cajon can get very hot in the summer months.

Other things to note

San Diego Airport is not far away and this location is located near a very busy street and is in a flight path of planes taking off between 6:30am -11pm. If you are a light sleeper we have earplugs and a white noise machine provided for your convenience. Also please note there are steps to get in to the unit, so if you have mobility issues please keep this in mind.


•Parking is available for 1 small car- large trucks or long vehicles may not fit and will need to find street parking.

•There are no parties allowed in the trailer or yard. Max occupancy for trailer or yard is 4 people.

•There is a $25.00 charge for lost keys

 

.There is no use of the stove in the trailer but a microwave and toaster oven are available.
